Webshop FAQs

Q: Can I use the Webshop to order all the Straightcurve products I need?

A: Yes, the Webshop allows you to order all of your Straightcurve requirements in one go, right down to the tek screws. Please triple-check that you have ordered all of your required accessories. If you’re unsure about what you need, please contact your state representative before you place your order as making changes to your original order will slow down the process and may delay your delivery.

Q: Can I opt to collect from the Warehouse and if so, what are the rules?

A: If you’d prefer to collect your order from the warehouse yourself, simply select that option in the checkout. But please remember to only collect within specified hours once you’ve been notified your order is ready. Also please take a copy of your order with you – this ensures our warehouse partners are giving the right order to the right person.

Q: Can I add extra items to my order at the Warehouse?

A: No. Our warehouses are operated by 3rd party partners, so you will not be able to collect additional items if you’ve forgotten to order something or need additional stock. For any additional items, please create a new order as the warehouse cannot add more items to your order at the collection point.

Q: When and why do I need to specify if a Forklift will be available at the delivery address?

A: If your order value exceeds $1,300 you will be asked in the checkout to specify if a forklift will be available at the delivery address. If you tick “YES” (to say a forklift will be available) the delivery may be made on a larger truck with forklift sideloading access – this will not incur any additional charges. If you tick “NO” (to say a forklift will not be available) the delivery will be made on a tail-lift truck, which will incur a tail-lift delivery fee (e.g. $150). Please note, these charges may be subject to change without notice.

Q: What happens if I tick “YES” to a forklift availability but one isn’t available at the time of delivery?

A: If you tick “YES” to a forklift being available at the delivery address at the time of delivery, your order will be delivered on a truck with side-loading access. If a forklift is not available at the time / place of delivery, you may be charged a second delivery fee to bring your order back on a tail-lift truck – this will add time (sometimes days) and extra cost to the delivery. Please be mindful of choosing the correct delivery method (based on forklift availability) to avoid delays and extra charges.

Q: Must someone be available at the nominated delivery address to receive the products?

A: Yes, we need to deliver your order to a person (who can sign for the delivery), not just a place. Delivery days & times cannot be guaranteed. If no one is available onsite to unload or receive the goods, they may be returned to the warehouse and another booking made at the purchaser’s cost for redelivery.

Q: Where will the products be placed when delivered to a site?

A: All deliveries will be made to the kerbside. This means that drivers will only be responsible for placing the goods on the ground at the nearest point to the inside of the boundary of the property. There will be no rear of property deliveries. Drivers may elect not to assist in hand unloading should the items be deemed too heavy. Drivers will not assist in carrying stock further than the kerbside.

Q: What should I do if there’s an issue with my delivered order?

A: If you have an issue with any of the supplied materials, please raise this with us within 24 hours of receival for consideration of return. Claims on goods that arrive damaged or short delivered must be made within 24 hours of receival and be accompanied by photographic evidence. Please contact your State Rep immediately should a problem arise.
